1. House, abode or home (from Sanskrit)
2. In the context of yoga, a studio or 'house' of yoga, a place where yoga is taught and practiced, a nurturing and supportive environment where people can gather, share experiences and grow in their practice
In a nutshell, that's the plan.
We want to create a space for the people to come and practice yoga. Whether you're trying it out for the first time or you've been practicing yoga since you were knee high to a grass hopper; this space is for you.
The physical and mental benefits of a regular yoga practice are now widely supported by scientific research. We hope to be able to share some of that good stuff with you all.
We aim to make all of our classes accessible to anyone. We'll focus on modern postural yoga, use plain English and avoid unnecessary mysticism. We'll also have a huge nod to the origins of the practice. The odd touch philosophical teachings might appear from time to time and we also aim to have a bit of a giggle now and then.
As well as our regular timetable, we'll be hosting the odd workshop, intro sessions and themed classes too. Please make sure you subscribe to our updates or follow us on social media to stay in the loop.
Something for everyone we hope.
We hope you enjoy the classes, the space and your yoga practice.
We'll add more info soon. If you'd like us to drop you an occasional email with updates and special offers from tome to time, please leave your details here.
