The full moon is a time of clearing out the old to create space for the new. Harnessing the potent energy of the moon, this Yoga Nidra session will guide you into deep states of relaxation where cleansing, healing and rejuvenation can take place. This practice is designed to deeply relax you. There is some evidence that an hour of Nidra is equivalent to several hours of ordinary sleep. This magical session will combine the transformative energy of the Full Moon with the deep, therapeutic effects of Yoga Nidra. At the time of the Full Moon, there is heightened vibration in the ether, waters, nature and in ourselves (emotions and psyche). In the practice of the ancient Indian 'sleep' meditation Yoga Nidra we are guided into an expansive state of consciousness that lies beyond waking and sleeping. On this evening of the February Snow Moon, we invite you to experience a fully guided 30 minute Yoga Nidra session, with emphasis on new opportunities and possibilities as we awaken from Winter. For this live streamed session we recommend for your best experience you dress comfortably and warmly, have available layers/blanket, and set up a quiet space for the duration of practice.
